Instructions for Authors Preparing and Uploading Virtual Presentation

The 22nd edition of the International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications (ICEAA 2021), the 10th edition of the IEEE-APS Topical Conference on Antennas and Propagation in Wireless Communications (IEEE APWC 2021) and the 2021 edition of the USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting (USNC-URSI RSM 2021) will be held in a hybrid format, with provision for both on-site and online participation and presentations. A web platform was created to collect the video presentations and make them available only for registered Attendees. Please plan to submit your presentation as soon as possible from June 15 to July 9, 2021. This deadline will be strictly enforced. Conference Attendees will be able to pose questions to Authors also through the chat plugin. Registered participants as authors are responsible and invited to check/manage/answer questions about their contributions posed by other registered participants. Guidelines about the chat will be provided in separate instructions.

 

Video Instructions

Audio/Video File Requirements:

• All files must be in MP4 H264 Format (the simplest way is to create a Voice over PowerPoint presentation – see below)

• Video length: from 12 to 20 minutes

• Options: 1) voice over slideshow – 2) slideshow with audio and webcam

• A bit rate of 1mbps or less: To check the bit rate, right click on the file name, click on properties, go to the details tab, and look for total bit rate.

• Resolution = 1080p FullHD

• Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Landscape

• Please use the following file naming convention: ###.mp4, where ### is the digit paper number that appeared in your acceptance letter.

Tips for recording audio/video:

1. Use as quiet an area as possible.

2. Avoid areas that have echo.

3. Wired internet connections are highly recommended if you record the presentation with on line systems like zoom, teams, etc..

4. A good headset with a microphone set close to your mouth BUT away from direct line of mouth to reduce “pops”. Try to avoid using default, built-in microphones on your computer, if possible.

You can also use any meeting software, as long as you have a recording of good quality and your final file is in the MP4 format.

Alternatively, you can use a free open-source software suite such as

Uploading Your Presentation to the Platform

After you have prepared your presentation follow this link https://www.iceaa-apwcursi2021.com/  and press the button “Authors Upload” Enter your email and code you received via email and select your paper then click “upload” and select your file.
